The third Event 1 flight has come to an end after 17 levels of play and it’s Kinson Cheung leading the way with 644,000. Cheung flew a bit under the radar but chipped up in the last few levels of play to bag the chip lead.
Russell Crane sits in second with 475,000 and Matt Costanzo rounds out the top three Day 1C chip stacks with 405,000.
There are 27 players from this flight that will be moving on to Day 2 and we saw plenty of players fall by the wayside including WSOP bracelet winner Matt Mendez and Soukha Kachittavong.
The combined Day 1A-E survivors will return Friday July 13 at 12 PM to resume Day 2 play. Below is a look at some of the big stacks and players from this flight that will be advancing.
