The player in the cutoff raised to 50,000 and Pete Carroll moved all in for 168,000 from the button. The small blind slid out a stack of about 300,000 and the rest of the players quickly folded.
The dealer fanned the flop and the small blind paired his ace in the window to take control of the hand.
The turn gave Carroll a gutshot straight draw and he would need a river six or seven to stay alive. The hit the river and Carroll improved to a straight to double up but not without a sweat.
Pete Carroll- 436,000
