Carlos Matos raised to 35,000 from early position and two players called. They went three handed to the flop and it checked to Matos who continued with a bet of 55,000.

Adam Reese called and they went heads up to the turn. Reese check-called a bet of 102,000 from Matos and the hit the river.

Carlos Matos

The action folded around to the player in the cutoff who moved all in for 71,000. Carlos Matos called from the button and Robert Aronowitz called from the big blind. They saw a flop of and both players checked.

They did the same on the turn card and the completed the board. Aronowitz checked for a third time and Matos tossed out a bet of 75,000. Aronowitz quickly folded and the hands were revealed.

The all in player showed for top pair but Matos tabled for a rivered set of eights to score the knockout. The remaining 18 players are now all in the money and guaranteed a minimum of $753 for their efforts.
