Elan Chabi raised to 1,500 from late position and two players called. They went three handed to the flop and the small blind led out with a bet of 1,000. Chabi raised to 3,000 and the player on the button quickly folded.
The small blind called and they went heads up to the turn card. The small blind check-called a bet of 3,000 from Chabi and both players checked the
river card.
“Kings” announced Chabi turning over his and his opponent fired his hand face down into the muck. “That’s how you play kings you check back the river because you’re scared” joked Chabi as he dragged in the pot.

We caught up to the heads up action on the board. Rob Holland fired out a bet of 4,000 into a main pot of about 10,000 and Larry O’Halloran raised to 14,000.
With the action back on Holland he moved all in for 21,600 and O’Halloran snap called.

O’Halloran was in good shape to score the knockout holding a set of four but Holland had plenty of outs with the nut flush draw and an open ended straight draw.
The hit the river and Holland improved to the nut flush to double his stack.

The third break is complete, play is back underway, and registration is closed on the first flight of the $1,000,000 Guaranteed opener. It drew an unofficial 210 entries with five more flights to go, the second currently underway in the back of the Signature Room. Flight A broke a table as soon as they returned to leave only 60 players still in the game.
John Forlenza leads the way with 186,000 but Chris Del Grande is close to catching him with 180,000. David Liberty rounds out the top three with 163,000 but the others have a couple hours to catch them.

David Liberty opened the action from under the gun and Sarah Weyer shipped in with her big stack from middle position. It folded around to the player in the big blind, he called at risk for 18,200 and Liberty called as well.

The second starting flight of the 2019 Summer Poker Open $1 Million Guaranteed Kick-Off event is now underway in the rear of the Signature Room. This iteration will be the same as Flight A, which is still running with registration closing at about 5:45pm.
Players get 25,000 chips to start and the first 16 levels are 30 minutes long. Registration for this flight will remain open until the start of level 13 (about 11:45pm).
Players who bust out of this flight can re-enter this or any subsequent flight until registration closes (Unlimited Re-Entries). Players who don’t bust out and bag chips in any flight can also re-enter any subsequent flight (Best Stack Forward). Any player who manages to bag chips in more than one flight will only take their largest stack into Day 2.

The field is quickly dropping with less than half of the starting entries remaining. Flight A is down to 10 tables with 10-handed action and registration open for more than an hour. But most new players are waiting for the Flight B kick off at the top of the hour.
