Entries: 180
The poker room is filling up with Flight B players and Event 8 is very near hitting its $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. They are less than 30 entries from that point and then they will start pushing it higher.
Borgata poker legend Mike McGuinness had a seat in that flight but it did not end well. We caught his hand when it was heads up to the flop and he put his short stack in the middle with
for the over card/flush draw. His opponent called with the over pair
and it held after the
turn and
river to send the seven-time Borgata champ (and WSOP Circuit ring winner) out early in the flight.

In addition, $4,210 was raised for a great cause. An adjusted payout agreement resulted in Jeremey Barnett taking home $11,915 and the trophy. This year, both the 1st AND 2nd place finishers will earn a $3,500 entry in the 2018 WPT BPO Championship, courtesy of Cabot Creamery!
To celebrate Borgata’s 15th Birthday, the Tournament of Champions will highlight the second Saturday of the series, with previous Borgata Open Champions invited to battle for a winner-take-all prize of $25,000.
