The dealer spread the flop, which was , giving Richard the full house and a near-lock on the hand. The

Vittorio Abbate has pulled into the chip lead with about 260,000. On this hand, however, he was just a spectator.
The flop read and the player in seat 6 was all-in for 46,400 and three players left to act. Spiros Panacopoulos had him covered, but not by much, and went into the tank. After a couple of minutes he said “call” and the other two players got out of the way.
Seat 6 had for the flush draw. Spiros was ahead with his
for top pair. The last two fell
and Spiros held to take the pot. He’s now stacking about 140,000 while his opponent was felted.
Spiros has Vittorio’s big stack on his immediate left, so we might see fireworks on table 1.

Sherry Ryan was building a big stack early and had been up to about 180,000, but then she ran her AK into Sheree Bykofsky’s flopped set of Tens. At the river, Sherry had Aces-up and called Sheree’s all-in, only to see the bad news.
Sherry was left short-stacked and lost the last of her chips soon after, reporting to the rail. Sheree has now joined the chip leaders with ~ 200,000.

Deeper Stack players are on a color-up break and when play resumes, registration will close.
Tommy Bates doubled up an opponent and was left with very few chips, which he put all-in dark soon after, waving farewell to them as well. He hit the rail before the close of registration.
A much-missed former Borgata Poker employee and current Poker Manager at a venue in Pennsylvania, Tommy always has a smile on his face, so we’re glad to see him come back to Borgata and visit when he’s got the time.
He finished 2nd in the Charity Series of Poker tournament held here during the 2018 Winter Poker Open, having a good time for a good cause.

The player in seat 1 on the button was all-in holding pocket Aces against Ari Yolin’s pocket Tens.
The board ran clean, until the river, as usual. I came 7 3 2 K T and Ari (bb) caught his 2-outer set on the river to take the pot, doubling up to about 50,000.
The unfortunate player in seat 1 got his last 5,825 in a couple of hands later and was felted.
