Larry Abrams got his stack in early and had to sweat as players around the table folded one by one. After picking up the blinds and antes, he’s basically back to his starting stack of 35,000.
He’s got not one, not two, but three six-figure cashes, all right here at Borgata. His first was in the 2012 Spring Poker Open Championship event, where a 2nd place finish earned him $175,700. That remains his best live cash to this day.
Then in the 2014 Fall Poker Open Championship, a 3rd place finish garnered him $119,601. Last Summer, he finished 2nd in the $1M GTD Kick-Off earning $120,000 (adjusted payout).

Level 10 is done and players are taking another break. When play resumes, registration will close, so this is the last chance to enter or re-enter.
Before the break, a loud outburst drew our attention to table 7. The hand was over but we got the run-down from the players involved.
Gene Faehner (early) limped, then Carlos Matos raised to 3,500 from the hijack. Gary Wong (cutoff) flatted the raise, then it folded back to Gary, who jammed for ~50,000.
Carlos folded and Gary snapped, tabling — I kid you not. Gene was way ahead with his pocket Aces. “I like this hand, Gary said..[if I bust out] I just re-enter.”
Then the flop came , giving Gary two pair. The outburst occurred when the
came on the turn, giving Gene top set and leaving Gary drawing dead.
Gene chipped up to ~120,000. Gary was left with about 50,000.
