Najib Bennani open-shoved for 1,100,000 from under the gun. Guo Chen thought for a few minutes before he folded and Kane Kalas followed suit. But instead of folding after thinking, Kalas moved all in with the bigger stack. The rest of the players quickly folded and they were off to the races.
Kalas:
Bennani:
Bennani needed to hold to stay in the game but Kalas moved into the lead on the flop. The
turn changed nothing and the
river sent Bennani out in seventh place.

Guo Chen opened to 115,000 from early position and picked up calls from David Albis, Greg Nerenberg, and Najib Bennani from the button and blinds. Nerenberg checked the flop from the small blind, Bennani bet 250,000 from the big (with a little over one million behind), Chen folded, and Albis called from the button.
Nerenberg pulled a check-raise all in and Bennani began counting out his remaining chips. He ended up releasing his hand and that was quickly followed by an Albis fold.

Action folded to David Albis in the hijack and he bet 150,000. Ryan McKnight moved all in from the cutoff for 875,000 and it folded back around. After getting a quick look at McKnight’s stack, Albis called to put McKnight at risk.

Albis:
McKnight was in a lot of trouble and the run out did not produce a come back to send him out in eighth place.
One more elimination and the live-streamed final table will be set for tomorrow.

Cvetkovic:
Wayachal:
Cvetkovic’s monster was good on the flop, the
turn left him two outs to sweat, and then it came on the
river. A tough way to end his Championship but he shook hands with all and congratulated the remaining eight players.

There were no major hands (or even borderline big pots) since Bobby Conte was eliminated, chips are being pushed around in small pots with few rivers being seen. The biggest was a three-way pot between Jesse Mercado, Kane Kalas, and Sumeet Wayachal that Mercado won with a shove after a flop.

Conte:
It was a race but Chen smashed the flop for the nut flush. After the
turn, Conte was down to a single out for the straight flush but the
river did not help.
Conte was down to seven bigs and moved all in from under the gun in the next hand. Ryan McKnight was the only one to come along and his was enough to end Conte’s Championship with
on the
