The entire Flight D field is now in the Signature Room and we have 20 tables in action. Stacks are starting to grow and Joey Cappuccio is one of those moving in the right direction as they make the end-of-day push.
His most recent boost came when he called a 6,000 bet preflop from the button in a four-way pot. There were two checks after the flop and a middle position player bet 9,000. Cappuccio and the big blind called and the turn came
. This time it went check/check over to Cappuccio and he put out 24,000. Two quick folds later and Cappuccio was up to 153,000.

Players are back from break and registration has closed for this flight. All Flight D players are in the Signature Room and Flight E is firing up over in the Poker Room.
Shortly before the break, a five-way pot developed on table 7. On the flop of T T 7, Eric Miller moved in for 29,300, got a call from seat 9, two folds, and another call from Aditya Sharma.
When a deuce came on the turn, Aditya announced all-in (43,000) and seat 9 called, showing pocket Aces. Aditya had pocket deuces and had turned the full boat. Eric’s pocket Kings were drawing to two outs to avoid elimination.
The river brought a 9, however, and Eric was felted. Aditya scooped main and side pots, chipping up to about 200,000. Eric hit the rail.

Before the break, Dave Gerken tripled up with a Big Blind Special.
It was raised to 4,200 and he called the extra over his big blind to see the flop fall . Dave checked, seat 8 bet 12,000, Greg Fishberg called, then Dave moved in for 39,000 total. Seat 8 moved in, as did Greg and the hands were tabled.
Dave: – trip sixes
Seat 8: – Kings-up
Greg: – Kings-up, better kicker
The turn brought the giving seat 8 a flush draw, but the
on the river caused the side pot to chop.
Dave tripled up to more than 120,000. Seat 8 and Greg chopped the side pot since they both had Kings-up with Ace kicker.

We are almost down to a Signature Room full of players with the poker room quickly emptying. It won’t stay like that for long with the 5pm final flight set to kick off over there.
Mike Dobbs is hiding in his little corner of the room and quietly grinding up a stack. The two-time Borgata champ (2016 March Monster Stack and 2018 Borgata Winter Poker Open Deepstack) is sitting in the back of the Signature Room far from prying eyes and so far he has run his 25,000 starting stack up to 110,000 with registration closing soon.

After an early open from Allan Rabinovich, Matt Mendez moved in for 31,700 from the small blind. Allan called, showing pocket 9s. Matt’s pocket Kings were way ahead.
The board ran out A A J J 8 and counterfeited Allan’s pair completely. Matt doubled up to ~70,000 while Allan was left playing a comfortable 103,000 (51 big blinds).
